Studio 2 55IW wurde bewertet mit von 5 von 2.
Rated 5 von 5 von Brucie aus Great speaker, but production/shipping issues Love the speaker, but hate Harman's shipping process. For some reason, speakers take at least three to four weeks to ship. In addition, their customer service center in Asia has no clue about shipping delays.
Rated 5 von 5 von Tazman aus Nice. I purchased these speakers to be the front speakers as part of an Atmos 5.2.4 system. All speakers in the system are JBL studio 2.. The center speaker is the Studio 2 235, the top and rear speakers are Studio 2 6IC. This Studio 2 speaker system provides everything that is asked of them. They produce clear and accurate sound. The speakers themselves are almost invisible in terms of sight and sound. These speakers work well for both music and movie applications. The customer service has been excellent.
My current HT set up has (2) L112s as my center channels, 4430's for my main L & R, and Jamo's for my surround and back channels. Looking to get (4) studio 2 55IW's for my overhead Atmos ceiling speakers. Would they be a good sound match?
They should be a great match!
In future, I'm planning to purchase a set of control 19CS as subwoofer, control 26C, control 126W and Studio 2 55IW as center channel speaker. However, I'm concern if I'm going to get really amazing sound quality from this combination. Please advise.
Here are some general guidelines to select speakers for a great listening experience: 1. Stick with the same series of speakers, so they all have the same tonal quality. This will provide a seamless transition when sound travels from one speaker to another. For example, if you select the CONTROL 26C speakers for your center channel, be sure to select similar CONTROL speakers for the front and rear channels. The system will sound fine with the speakers you mention. 2. Make sure the speakers you choose can handle the power rating of your amplifier or receiver. If you have a 100 watt per channel receiver, be sure the speakers you choose have a rating of 100 watts or higher. 3. Make sure the speakers have the same impedance level as your amplifier or receiver. If your amplifier is rated at 8 ohms, then select speakers also rated for 8 ohms.
will the Studio 2 55IW be a good match for the Studio 230 speakers?
Absolutely. Along with the STUDIO 230 speakers that you have, the STUDIO series speakers have the same sonic tonal quality, giving you a seamless transition when sound travels from one speaker to another.
Hi can I use 7 of these speaker to build 7.1 home theater? or do you suggest more powerful front/center speakers? What sub woofer do I need and what kind of AV Receiver? Also are this speakers covered from the back? Thanks
It is best to use the STUDIO 2 55IW speakers for all the satellite channels, but since these are in-wall speakers we would recommend that you use the STUDIO 2 55IW, simply as your rears or your surround speakers. A great floor-standing speaker as your fronts, similar to the STUDIO 580 would be perfect. For the center, the STUDIO 235C would be great paired with the STUDIO SUB 260P as your subwoofer. For an AV Receiver, the Harman Kardon AVR 1710S would be a great choice. This kind of set-up would provide you a smooth sounding and powerful system. No, the STUDIO 2 551W is not covered from the back.
Is the JBL Studio 2 55IW a good choice for a center channel with 2-Studio 2 8IC for the front speakers & 2-Studio 2 6IC for Surround-Rear Speakers, plus a Studio Sub 250P, all hooked up to a Harmon Kardon AVR 1601S 425W 5.1 Receiver -- Good?
Absolutely. Stick with the same series of speaker, so that all of the speakers have the same sonic tonal quality, giving you a seamless transition when sound travels from one speaker to another. However, the STUDIO 2 6IC can only handle up to 80 watts. This means that any receiver with a power output of 80 watts per channel or less will work fine with these speakers. Since the AVR 1610S puts out 85 watts per channel, as long as you don't crank the volume to the max, causing it to send distortion to the speakers, you will not have any problem.
Do the speaker come wit back box
I can see that you have already assisted by our Customer Service team. I'm glad that it has been taken care of.
I am planning an in-wall/in-ceiling 5.1 system. What is the better choice for the LCR units, the Studio 2 8IW, the Studio 2 55IW, or a mix of the two? Can the Studio 2 55IW be mounted horizontally between two 16" studs?
The STUDIO 2 8IW speaker can handle up to 100 watts while the STUDIO 2 55IW can handle up to 120 watts per channel. This means that any receiver with a power output of 100 watts per channel or less will work fine with these speakers. So as long as your receiver puts out 100 watts per channel or less, you can have a mix of the two added to your existing home theater system. The STUDIO 2 55IW can be mounted horizontally between two 16" studs. It will sound great. The best bet would be a pair of 81W’s for the front left and right, with a 55IW for the center.
Can I join six of these speakers in to one system? And how to join them.
As long as your receiver can accommodate six speakers, you can use six of the STUDIO 2 55IW in to one system. To hook up the STUDIO 2 55IW, you just connect the speaker wires to the appropriate outlets on the A/V receiver. The speaker wires must be connected correctly on both the receiver and speaker. For example, the positive speaker terminal (red) on the receiver must be connected to the positive terminal on the speaker and the negative terminal (black) on the receiver connected to the negative terminal on the speaker.
